fate

I received a copy of this ebook in exchange for an honest review.

This story is based on the same plot as the first book (Soulmates) but it is told from the perspective of Jake, whereas the first book was told from Maddy’s point of view.

I enjoyed reading the same story told from Jake’s eyes. It was nice to see what he was feeling, and I felt sorry for him in certain parts of the book. For instance, when Andy told Jake that Maddy was dating again, I could feel the pain that Jake felt, knowing that the girl he loved was seeing somebody else. Compared to the first book, I sympathised with Jake a lot more, knowing that he had real feelings for Maddy but he was just too scared to tell her.
There were a few minor grammatical errors in the book, but none of these distracted me from the story. I cannot wait to read the third book in this series. Nicole Dykes is a talented author, and I look forward to any future releases from her.

I rate this book 4/5 stars!
